I'm selling my Toshiba M70-FE5 and I thought I'd do a sort of description here just in case you want to buy it. It's nothing like those laptop computer reviews but I think you can appreciate it.
I have to be honest, the m70 is a great looking laptop and I have received nothing but compliments from friends and people at school. Combining performance and an aesthetically pleasing look, I am very happy with the look of the laptop.
The laptop came with a copper coating on the lid. I wouldn't pick copper as personal preference but it's not that big of a deal to me because I never really look at it. The keyboard is good enough and the keys have a fairly solid feel to them so no complaints there.
The speakers are located to the lower right and left. To some that may be a big deal but I do have 2.1 Logitech z2300 speaker system with a 120W subwoofer so the built in speakers have become fairly useless.
The tru-brite screen is really clear and no complaints there. During the day however in rooms with open windows the glare is absolutely brutal. I am not sure what kind of finish the screen has but the glare can be pretty bad depending on what angle you sit at.
Besides the glare the screen has been very nice for general computer use, programming and video gaming. The only complaint I have about the actual physical build of this laptop has to be that the audio output for speakers is right infront, between my wrists and right infront of the touchpad.
It's not like I'm making contact with it, it's just that I find it a pain in the ass to route a wire from behind my desk, around the laptop and into the front. Overall, it's a great looking laptop, fairly quiet and it is definitely an eye catcher.

Lady Gaga New Album Born Release Coming in May
Lady GaGa celebrated New Year by announcing release dates for her new album "Born This Way" and its lead single. "THE SONG 2 13 11 THE RECORD 5 23 11," she posted on Twitter along with a picture of her stripping down from the waist down and wearing a jacket with the album title emblazoned on the back.
Prior to the announcement, she tweeted her Little Monsters some lyrics from the record, "I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes, I'm on the right track baby, I was Born This Way. Don't hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you're set. I'm on the right track baby, I was Born This Way."
GaGa previously told BBC that "lyrically this album is more poetic." She gushed, "It's really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they're funneling so much into me. So I wrote it for them. Born This Way is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster."
Teasing about the sound, she said "[It's] a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock and roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats." She explained more, "It's kind of like the post-operative stage of the album. I've already done the full heart surgery. I'm just sewing myself back up again."
Beside having a new album on the way, Lady GaGa will also roll out a "Gnomeo and Juliet" soundtrack she worked with Elton John. The song will be made available for purchase in a CD package of the movie theme songs compilation on February 8.

Oh That's Life
Here's something funny and amusing I found at the baby birth announcements section of today's community newsletter. I hope it will put a smile in your face today.
It's a baby and a Mom!
BORN: Juliet Amor Merlot
GAVE BIRTH: Karen Adams Merlot
DATE: October 2, 2010 (Yes, it took Karen months to get around to ordering announcements. So sue her.)
WEIGHT: The baby is 7lbs 12oz. As for mom, let's see: She's eating 500 extra calories a day for breastfeeding, plus half a pound of chocolate to stay awake, plus all the lasagna her friends can cook. You do the math!
EYES: Baby's blue / Mom's bloodshot
HAIR: Baby's brown / Mom's unwashed since last Tuesday and falling out by the handful.
LENGTH: Practically forever - at least 26 hours of labor, plus 3 hours of pushing. And that's not counting those eight visits to the hospital the week before, when Karen thought she was in labor but it was really Braxton Hicks; or the half hour after the baby came out, when her OB kept doing things "down there" that are best not thought about. OH, and the baby was 21 inches!
SEX: Never again!

Little Fockers Tops New Year Box Office Weekend
The commercially underwhelming comedy "Little Fockers" narrowly retained its lead at the North American box office during the holiday weekend, as Hollywood's prolonged slump spilled over into the new year.
According to studio estimates issued on Sunday, "Little Fockers" earned $26.3 million during the three days beginning December 31, followed by "True Grit" with $24.5 million, and "Tron: Legacy" with $18.3 million. The movies, all either sequels or remakes, were unchanged in rank from last weekend.
"Little Fockers," the third entry in the dueling in-laws franchise starring Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, has earned $103.2 million after 12 days. Its predecessor, "Meet the Fockers," released exactly six years earlier, had pulled in almost $163 million after the same period.
The Jeff Bridges Western remake "True Grit," one of the few hits of the holiday season, has earned $86.8 million also after 12 days. But with a $38 million budget, the Coen brothers' drama cost about one-third of "Little Fockers," and is expected to hold up well as awards season plays out.
Overall sales fell for the eighth consecutive weekend compared with the year-ago period, when business was driven by such hits as "Avatar" and "The Blind Side."
The weak performance brought the curtain down on a disappointing year for Hollywood, when higher prices for 3D movies failed to offset a decline in attendance.
The number of movie tickets sold in 2010 slid about 5.4 percent from 2009, according to box office analysts at Hollywood.com. It marked the biggest percentage drop since 2005 when attendance tumbled 8.1 percent.
Overall ticket sales were flat at about $10.6 billion, marking the first time since 2008 that sales failed to improve upon the previous year, Hollywood.com said. The flat picture came as the studios charged moviegoers an extra few dollars each for the privilege of seeing films ranging from the hit "Alice in Wonderland" to the bomb "Piranha" in 3D.
