RV Tips

Here are a few cold weather RV tips just in case you're planning to head out this winter:

Do not store any water hoses with water in them. If you need to use it, it will probably be frozen. You can take it inside to thaw out if need be, or use a hair dryer.

Covering the windows with curtains, drapes or almost anything will help to hold some of the heat in. It helps to cover overhead vent openings too.

Oh and don’t forget the electric blanket. It can be a lifesaver at night.

It may be necessary to take military type showers to keep from filling the gray water tank so quickly. Heat up some water, take the water and a tall glass and enjoy your shower.

Leave cabinets or drawers open where water lines are located to allow heat to circulate around plumbing.

Try to avoid opening the entry door as much as possible.

If you haven’t purchased your RV yet and you know you will be using an RV in cold weather see if the manufacturer offers an arctic package option when you buy it. Some packages include higher R-factor insulation values, enclosed underbelly, heated holding tanks, dual pane windows and more.

Taylor Swift Is Entertainer of the Year For Entertainment Weekly

What does Taylor Swift have in common with James Franco, Katy Perry and Jon Hamm? Well, they've all made Entertainment Weekly's Entertainers of the Year list, along with 10 other celebrities. But, the magazine has singled out Swift for its top prize, Entertainer of the Year.

The magazine bestowed the honor on the singer thanks to her many accomplishments in 2010, which included multiple hit singles and Grammy wins, a super-successful tour and the #1 debut of her latest album, Speak Now, which sold more than 1 million copies in its first week alone.

Speak Now gained tons of buzz in the weeks leading up to its release thanks to much discussion over which exes Swift might be singing about on the record, a subject that the pop star laughs off in the issue, which hits newsstands Friday.

"Sometimes I would laugh because I would see it in print and it would say, 'This song, which is written about her ex, so-and-so ...' And they would write about it as if it was fact," she says. "The fact is, I haven't ever confirmed that any song is about any particular person. There's something kind of freeing about that. As far as I'm concerned, it's all still up in the air."

2010 also saw Swift finally laying to rest Kanye West's now-infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards interruption by taking the stage at this year's VMAs to sing her song "Innocent," in which she extends her forgiveness to the rapper. "I had decided that I didn't want to perform on the show. Or even go," she admits. "Then I woke up in the middle of the night and I realized that I had to, and that I wanted to perform that song."

Herbal Supplements

There are now a lot of herbal supplements available that truly work. From herbal male enhancement capsules to herbal tea for weight loss, you can now find a lot of them in your local drug store.

These herbal supplements undergo rigorous testing and it actually takes years before they get approved to as medicines, but nevertheless - they are now available to the public so they can get the benefits already.

Herbal supplements like lagundi have been available since I can remember, and after much study - it's now an approved medicine. So as long as you don't feel any side effects, I believe that trying out herbal supplements is a good way to save some money and try out something new if modern medicines are not that effective in helping you with your concerns.

Best Way To Lose Weight Fast

Did you know that two thirds of the people in the United States are overweight and one third are considered clinically obese. But very few people are aware of how they actually got there.

Obesity results when the energy intake exceeds expenditure for a long period. In other words when you consume more than spend, energy transforms in fat. Some people have very high level of metabolism, they can eat whatever they want and don’t make much exercise and always look slim!

But organisms of the majority don’t spend so much energy. That’s why if we eat caloric food and don’t move a lot we see changes in our shape (not always pleasant)!
So there is a simple formula: reasons for getting fat

If energy consumption is greater than energy expenditure, then you will have fat. And that's what you should always remember if you want to know the best way to lose weight fast.

Anna Hathaway and James Franco To Host Oscars

Now that the cat is out of the bag about Anne Hathaway and James Franco co-hosting next year's Oscars, Anne is busy dealing with the pressure of helming one of Hollywood's biggest nights.

"I'm convinced it will be a [nerve-wracking experience]," Anne told The New York Post outside the Gotham Awards on Monday night.

As for why she chose to accept the master-of-ceremonies gig, Anne seemed to go with her gut: "I don't really have a great reason ... I like a challenge. It seems like an incredibly cool and exhilarating thing to do."

Both James and Anne have enough talent (and comedic chops) to make the 83rd Annual Academy Awards an interesting night. James has played everything from goofy drug dealers to Spider-Man's nemesis and Anne has taken on a variety of challenging roles over her impressive career.

Co-hosting is nothing new at the Oscars and Anne is in good company when it comes to past female Oscars hosts. Roaslind Russell was the first female actress to be listed as a co-host at the 1958 Academy Awards and Ellen DeGeneres and Whoopi Goldberg have both hosted in the past.
