Missing My Music

I was busy today downloading some stuff and as I was ready to watch Kick Ass movie online, one of my co-workers asked me if they could copy some of my mp3 files in my computer. I said that it was okay, I know how dreadful the office background radio music is - makes you more sleepy than productive.

So I booted up my PC again and showed her my music folders. It was not arranged by genre like what most people do (I think). It was arranged by artists because that's how I listen to music.

I showed her around the folders and said that I needed to go and if she could just take care of my computer and shut it down before she leaves.

I though everything went okay because she didn't call or sent me a text message when I left. It was only today that I realized that she didn't copy the music files. She "cut and paste" them into her computer!

What the?!

Now a good number of my songs are missing! I went to her today and asked her to copy back the mp3's into my computer. Hohum. Mental note - don't leave my computer with someone who's pretending to know a lot about computers.

Visiting Nurses

A friend of mine will be coming over this week with some of her nurse friends. They are a part of a group of visiting nurses in our city who will be looking at available medical assisting school where they can work.

She's hoping that I also become a tour guide as well for them specially that they want also to experience much of the city night life.

I'm bringing them to our local museum and of course, give them a short walking tour of the city. And of course, a food appreciation trip is also part of the agenda as well.

I am honestly surprised that I am excited for this opportunity. I guess I haven't really been going out that's why I'm excited as well to experience the city as well.
