I did some brisk walking today and passed by a playground complete with slides and even a wood swing set. That immediately gave me a sense of nostalgia as I remember playing in those when I was a kid.
Nowadays, kids have electronic toys and video games to keep them entertained. Back then, it was the streets that served as our everyday playground.
So many things have changed and I wonder how different today's kids will be when they grow up. In a way, I'm glad that I was part of that era when playing tag and hide and seek all afternoon was the best part of my day as a kid.
