What is phentermine?
According to a medical book I have, phentermine is a sympathomimetic amine, which is similar to an amphetamine. It is also known as an "anorectic" or "anorexigenic" drug.
It basically stimulates your nerves and your brain to increase your heart rate and blood pressure and decreases your appetite. It is commonly used as a short-term supplement for diet and exercise to be able to treat of obesity.
Why am I telling you this, because I received an email asking about it. I guess that person encountered the term and decided to ask me about what it is.
