A Saturday Double Header

What to watch, what to watch. That's the dilemma that's been bugging me for the past few days. Why? Because it's double action Saturday.

If you've been reading my past entries, you'll see that there will be two upcoming sports events this weekend - the Mayweather vs Marquez fight and the UFC 103.

I know that the boxing match is like, once in a lifetime but I've been an MMA fan for the longest time now. So I hope you understand how hard this weekend for me.

So what do you think it should be: The Mayweather vs Marquez live stream fight or the UFC 103 live stream.

I guess I'll just record both events and watch them simultaneously - one on my computer and one on TV.

Cousin In North Carolina

A cousin of mine from North Carolina called me a while ago and she was talking about her new health insurance called Blue Advantage. She knows that I don't have medical insurance anymore because I'm a freelancer that's why she told me that I should really get a personal plan immediately.

Visiting My Old Office

I used to work as a purchasing engineer in a steel manufacturing company and I made a visit to my old office today. It was really nice to see my old officemates again and meet the new guy on old desk.

His name is Bill and just like what I did before, he's assigned to buy the industrial equipment supplies required by the plant. We had a short chat and I'm glad he's enjoying his job there.

I was also able to catch up with my old boss and learned that the office is doing great despite the recent economic events. He even showed me how the old plant has been renovated and new satellite offices have opened during the past year.

Visiting my old office was a nice break from my usual routine of being a freelancer. Catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.

Things To Buy Today

Just thinking out loud right now and writing some of the things I need to buy today at the office supplies store. This is an old habit of mine and helps me actually remember so I won't need to bring a list to the store anymore.

Anyway, first on my list should be a box cutter. I'm organizing my home office and some of the stuff needs to go. I already have old boxes and I just need to cut some of them.

Then, there's also a need for some pad papers, seeing that my stock is almost gone - as well as some pencils. I can't remember using all of them, I think my brother gets some of his stock from me.

In any case, I would also need to buy a new bookshelf as my current one is not sturdy anymore. There's too many books in it I suppose. Anyway, I guess that's it.

A Myrtle Beach Vacation

My aunt called today asking me if I would want a Myrtle beach vacation. Of course I said yes. I've always wanted to go there and now I have the opportunity to do so.

To prepare for my vacation, I searched for Myrtle beach golf packages online. This is something I'm really looking forward to do there.

Aside from that I am also excited to have some thrilling action. I'll visit Family Kingdom Amusement Park and of course, swim at the Myrtle Beach's water parks.

But most specially, I'm looking forward to doing a round of golf with my family and friends. I'll be leaving next week for a one week stay there. Yey!
