SNUD2NMI Text Message

This afternoon, I received a very confusing text message. It says SNUD2NMI. I thought my friend was just drunk, confused or sleepy. But it was the afternoon, so he must be wide awake. Again, I read the text message SNUD2NMI.

And then I remember, we were supposed to meet at the mall that time. And I realized that the SNUD2NMI text message simply meant: "san na you, dito na me" or "where are you, I am already here."

So, he's already there. Wah! I'm late. So I replied back, W8LNGJNMI.

Sweet Dreams

For several months now, I've been sleeping on my back and waking up on my stomach. For me, this means that I've been tossing and turning while I'm sleeping.

This is actually bad because this means I'm not having a comfortable sleep. No wonder why I sometimes don't feel rested despite having slept for 8 hours.

I told this observation to a friend and he suggested that I get myself a sleep number bed. He suggested that I first find what my sleep number is and find the right bed.

This ensures that the firmness of the bed is just right and this means that I won't be tossing and turning anymore. After a while, I'm convinced that he's right.

Now I'm excited to get myself a new bed. I guess it's really time for a new one. My old one has been with me for more than 10 years already.

Tuna Kinilaw Recipe | Kilawin na Isda Recipe

Looking for tuna kilawin recipe? How do you make fish kilawin? If you're looking for tuna kinilaw recipe, then here it is.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo tuna cut into cubes
1/2 cup of gata ng niyog or coconut cream
1/2 cup calamansi juice
1 1/2 cup vinegar
2 onion heads
4 medium ginger, sliced
1 head garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
3 chili peppers
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Season tuna with salt and pepper.
2. Pour vinegar and put inside ref for 4 hours.
3. Drain.
4. Mix in onions, garlic, ginger, bell pepper, chili pepper, onions and calamansi juice.
5. Add the coconut cream.
6. Serve cold.

Health Research

I've been helping my friend's younger brother researching about an assignment in school. It's quite nostalgic because I think it's really been years since I studied and researched something.

His topic is about Mesothelioma cancer. And if it were me 10 years ago, I would have gone into the library and sorted through encyclopedias to find the information I'd need for the paper.

But now, all I needed to do was log on to the internet and search everything online. It's so convenient. Which is why I'm not doing the research anymore for my friend's brother, I want him to learn so what I actually did is to give him a website where he can research his topic online.

Where can I watch Public Enemies free online? I want to watch Public Enemies free online because I am a big Johnny Depp fan and this is his latest movie since Pirates of the Caribbean.


Also, Public Enemies stars Christian Bale and this is his newest film since Batman. They are joined by other superb actors in this film that's why I want to watch Public Enemies free online.

Bathroom Repairs

My family will be going to the province this weekend. We will be visiting our vacation house. That's why my father called our caretaker there to ask if the house needed anything.

Our caretaker said that the bathroom badly needs renovation. The paint is already peeled and some of the ceramic tile are already broken.

And that's why we will be going tomorrow to shop for these. I always enjoy buying things for home repairs because it reminds me of my childhood days of playing with Lego and building blocks.

But this time, it's not toys anymore but real wood, tiles, nails and paint that I'll be tinkering with. I'm really looking forward to this weekend working on some bathroom repairs in our vacation home.

Just Bought A PS3 Player

I just bought a Sony PlayStation 3 and is excited to use it a lot. I now have a short list of games that I'll definitely play.

But perhaps what I'm most excited about is the advanced Blu-ray player that is built-in inside. I found it to be really good and I'm not surprised why there are so many PS3players reviews online that only had good things to say about this.

Blu-ray movies play faster than other players and the picture quality is great. Now, I don't have to go to the movies to have a great cinematic experience.

Just put some popcorn on the microwave, dim the lights, turn up the volume and I'm taken to another dimension. I guess, this is one of my best purchases for the month.

How To Make Liquid Dishwashing Soap

I was watching one of those television livelihood programs this afternoon and I chanced upon this interesting episode on how to make liquid dishwashing soap. I would like to share with you today just in case you want to make your own liquid dishwashing soap.

You can use this easy procedure to help you save money and even make money. This is a very straighforward dishwashing liquid formula that you can do and produce at home and sell to others. Who knows, this could be a good soap business for you!

Ingredients:
1 kg cocofatty alcohol sulfate
100 ml coconut diethanolamide
100 ml linear alkaline benzene sulfuric acid
11 L water
10 ml anti back
Coloring (water soluble)
20 ml scent or fragrance
500 g iodized salt

Procedure:
1. Melt cocofatty alcohol sulfate in water.
2. Stir mixture constantly.
3. Add coconut diethanolamide, linear alkaline benzene sulfuric acid and anti-back.
4. Mix well.
5. Add iodized salt
6. Add desired coloring and fragrance
7. Let it stand for 24 hr

That's it, now you know how to make liquid dishwashing soap.

Going To The Dermatologist

I went to the dermatologist today to have my acne breakout checked. It's been almost four months since my last visit.

I decided to go today because I felt that if I don't, my pimples will get worse. And so I called my skin doctor and scheduled an appointment.

As expected, she recommends that I really get enough sleep and stop worrying so much. It's my stress levels that's been causing my acne breakout.

She also gave me some Acnetix and a strict facial regimen which I should follow. I'm going back to her in a week so she can track my progress.

On my way home, I can't help but think how our busy life can really affect our health. If we don't take care of ourselves, we simply become ugly.

Yes, the good life also means good health - both inside and outside.

Taking Care of A Baby

My cousin will be visiting our home in a few days. She just gave birth to a baby girl and my parents are so excited to see their grandniece (is there such a word?).

Anyway, my mom is planning to do some shopping today for some baby food, baby clothes, disposable diapers and other baby stuff. This is making me wonder, should I get married already? Hmmm.

I asked her for how long will my cousin be staying with us. She says that it will be just for a couple of days.

And I said, "What?!"

With the long list of things on her shopping list, I thought they were staying for two weeks. Oh well, you can't blame mothers for being so maternal.

On Chopsticks and Teachers

One of my earliest childhood memory was me and my piano teacher showing me how to play Chopsticks on the piano. The day is still pretty lucid for me because it was my first time to ever see a grand piano.

I think I was around 8 years old that time and my piano teacher decided that we shall have our lessons at her home. I think she really wanted me to see a grand piano, after being so patient with our play piano at home.

If you don't know, Chopsticks or The Celebrated Chop Waltz is one of the simplest and most famous waltz for the piano. It was composed in 1877 by Euphemia Allen, also known as Arthur de Lull or Lulli.

Beautiful Dogwood Trees

My aunt sent me today some pictures of their road trip vacation to Canada last year and one of the first things I noticed were the beautiful dogwood trees in her photos. She is a nature lover just like me and I know that's why she sent me today these pictures.
