Branson Vacation Adventure
Yesterday, I met a friend whom I haven't seen for years. We had lunch and then went for coffee. It's been almost three years since we last saw each other. The reason for this is because he now lives with his family in the United States.
The day ended and then he said that if I have some free time, then I should consider taking a vacation at Branson Missouri where he lives. I'm not really familiar with that place but he assures that it will be fun having me there.
That's why I started searching the internet to see what Branson, Missouri can offer me when I go there. That's when I found this site named, Branson Getaways. They really have an great site which gave me a lot of information about having a Branson vacation adventure.
I was thrilled to discover that there's a Go Kart Track there and also various museums such as the Titanic museum and the Hollywood Wax Museum. The Branson Scenic Railroad ride seems tempting too. Not to mention the adventures for nature lovers waiting at the State Park Marina and the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
I really don't want to burden my friend with my stay so I also searched for lodging availability in Branson and found out that it isn't hard to find a good place to stay there. One hotel that caught my attention was The Clarion Hotel because it's located near the famous 76 strip.
A vacation in Branson is not expensive. The Gold Package from Branson Getaways in only $455. This includes 3 days and 2 nights stay at The Clarion for two. Additionally, I'll get 2 adult tickets to Pierce Arrow and Mickey Gilley with that. A great value for my money.

Doing Home Repairs For Good Feng Shui
I'm now doing some home repairs. Early today, I bought industrial clamps to fix some stuff at the garage, which I'm actually cleaning up. I also threw away some of the things I haven't used for a long time.
The experience was actually liberating. I want to start my New Year right by taking away the chaos and the clutter in the house to usher in the good Chi. This is something I learned from my mother, all about good Feng Shui.
So I guess that's it. I'm just taking a break for tomorrow. All repairs and cleaning will resume the day after. And for all it's worth, I think the luck is actually coming in already for I've received a call for a project this afternoon.

Bride Wars is the latest comedy movie from 20th Century Fox. It is basically a comedy film about two friends who decided to get married on the same day. The problem now arises as both ladies try to outdo each other and make their wedding bigger and better.
A really funny film to start the new year. That's why I want to watch Bride Wars online and of course, I will then watch it again in the movie houses when it shows in the cinemas.

Summer Will Be Here Soon
Summer will be coming here soon and I need to fix the ceiling fans of the house while the weather is still cool. I want to save some money on my energy expenses that's why I'm planning to do this. Using the air conditioning will be limited to special occasions and during really hot days, but for other warm days, I think that it will be more frugal to just use a fan.
Some of the ones I have at home needs to be replaced though so I'm currently looking for inexpensive but durable models that can effectively cool up the rooms in the house. The fans should also be able to blend well with my current furniture and over all interior design of the house.
Come to think of it, this chore will be something I'm looking forward to do. I've always like redecorating the house and I'm sure that this home project of mine will be fun and interesting.

Every third Sunday of January, the town of Kalibo, Aklan in the Philippines celebrates the Ati-Atihan Festival. This is an annual feast that honors the Santo Niño and is considered to be the Mother of all Philippine Fiestas.
The reason for this is because the Ati-Atihan Festival has been the basis of a lot of other celebrations in the Philippines such as the Dinagyang of Iloilo, Halaran of Capiz, Binirayan of Antique, MassKara of Bacolod and Biniray Festival of Romblon.
The word Ati-Atihan simply means to act like an Ati. These are indigenous people of the Philippines, specifically the original inhabitants of Panay Island. They are most recognized as a people with dark skin and curly hair.
The Ati-Atihan Festival is now a celebration in honor of the child Jesus or the Santo Niño. People will paint their faces with black soot and wear bright costumes as they dance, go on parade and be merry during the fiesta.

A Gift For The New Year
I'm going for great value for the money this 2009 and to start off my year, I'm planning to replace my clunky old watch and shop for some replica watches online. I believe that this is a good way to save money.
Watches should first and foremost, be able to tell and keep the time accurately. That's why I think you don't really need those very pricey designer watches. All you need is an effective device that will help you with your daily schedule.
Some people may think that replica watches are poor quality, but I think they're not. Most of them are actually done excellently, very durable and looks as fashionable as those expensive originals.
Your money should be spent on more important necessities and not all spent on vanity. This is my opinion and that's why as a gift for myself this new year, I am buying myself a nice replica watch. What do you think?
Watches should first and foremost, be able to tell and keep the time accurately. That's why I think you don't really need those very pricey designer watches. All you need is an effective device that will help you with your daily schedule.
Some people may think that replica watches are poor quality, but I think they're not. Most of them are actually done excellently, very durable and looks as fashionable as those expensive originals.
Your money should be spent on more important necessities and not all spent on vanity. This is my opinion and that's why as a gift for myself this new year, I am buying myself a nice replica watch. What do you think?
