I'm storing some of my date in an online backup because I need these information to be mobile for me. These are some documents I need for work and aside from my personal backup in my portable hard drives, I'm storing it online just in case my old drive decides to quit on me.
It's also a great way to share content to your friends and colleagues. By simply sharing a link, they can instantly download a specific file in your online storage. It's convenient and more time efficient in my opinion.
