Here's another article I came up with in preparation for the upcoming UFC 100 that's happening on July 11. I don't have tickets so I guess I'll just watch the UFC 100 live stream on that day.
Anyway, great interest has been created by Brock Lesnar in his coming debut in MMA against UFC champion Frank Mir. Lesnar is already well known in the WWE arena and a champion wrestler at that.
But since WWE is an entertainment sport, many are questioning his athletic competence when it comes to the reality sport of MMA. And many are mistaken to question Lesnar. Why?
Did you know that Brock Lesnar has a record of 106-5 for his four years of college wrestling and even won the junior college national championship in 1998 and the Division I championship for the University of Minnesota in 2000, both as a heavyweight.
This wrestling record is something that is actually present in the history of many UFC and MMA superstars such as Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Quinton Jackson, Dan Henderson and many others. (I could go on and on here)
However, a good wrestling history does not always follow MMA success. A good number of WWE players ended up with nothing in MMA and their names now fail me.
So where will Brock Lesnar go? Will it be towards UFC greatness or MMA oblivion. We'll see on Saturday, so join me while I do live blogging as I watch the UFC 100 live stream online.
