Accidents Do Happen

A friend of mine recently had an accident at work. The machine he was working on suddenly malfunctioned which caused him to have a huge cut along his arm. Good thing that he was brought to the hospital immediately to receive medical care.

I visited him that same day and we were both thankful that his injuries were not any more serious. He honestly doesn't know what would happen to him if ever he loses a limb.

I said that that having social security disability insurance will actually help him if ever that happens. He can expect to receive both financial aids and healthcare benefits from it. So there's really nothing to worry about because he will have a partner that will help him move on with the new stage in his life.

In the end, we both agreed that accidents do happen. And safety at work should always be a priority for companies and employees.
