Do you want to know how to make Vigan longganisa? Vigan longanisa is one of the food you should eat when you are in Ilocos. It is their specialty and very delicious. Vigan Longganisa is best eaten during breakfast with salted eggs, fresh tomatoes and fried rice.
There are many Vigan Longganisa recipe out there and this is one of them.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo ground pork
1/8 cup crushed garlic
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoon vinegar
3 feet sausage casing
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Procedure:
1. Mix all ingredients except water and cooking oil in a bowl.
2. Stuff the mixture into the sausage casing and hang under direct sunlight for 4 hours.
3. Heat pan and pour water and cooking oil.
4. Cook under low heat until all water evaporates.
5. Pan fry until golden brown.
