What is a wireless router? I heard this question from a friend of mine yesterday and I said to him that I will answer his question here in my website. So for today, we will be all high-tech and informative.
Anyway, my friend recently subscribed to a broadband internet at home. For a few days, he was really enjoying his fast speed connection. After that, he thought, is it possible to make his home WiFi capable?
He asked me that and I said to him, "Yes, you just have to buy a wireless router."
"What's that?" he asked.
I said that a wireless router is a device which can split and distribute your broadband connection to several computers. And because it has the "wireless" feature. It can send it without the need for wires or network cables.
And basically, that's all you just need to know. Installing a wireless router is easy. Many of them have a self-installing CD and user friendly manuals, while some, are already ready to use out of the box.
