A List of Natural Expectorants

The weather lately has been really cold and I'm starting to experience a build-up in my throat and nasal passages. I don't want to get sick because I have a lot of work that needs to be done this month.

Taking prescribed medication is not an attractive option for me either because they can make me drowsy. I tried to ask my doctor if there are any herbal medicines I can take.

Fortunately, he gave me a website that lists natural expectorants. Among them, I only know two which I can easily get - garlic and honeysuckle because they're in my mom's garden.

I wonder if they are really effective, but I guess there's no harm in trying since they are but natural. I'm also replacing coffee and drink chamomile tea more because I noticed that it clears my nasal passages and soothes the throat.
