Puto Bumbong Secret Recipe How To

Do you want to know how to make puto bumbong? Are you looking for a recipe to puto bumbong? Then here's the secret recipe of my mother that she shared to me. She makes really delicious puto bumbong. Advanced Merry Christmas!

Puto Bumbong Ingredients:
- 5 kilos malagkit / galapong or glutinous rice
- 1 cup ordinary rice
- 1 tablespoon of lilac / purple / violet food color
- 1 kilo shredded mature coconut / niyog
- margarine
- sugar

Puto Bumbong Making Procedure:
1. Mix the glutinous rice, ordinary rice and food coloring.
2. Soak it in water for four hours.
3. Slowly grind using a stone or manual grinder. Do not to put too much water while grinding so the mixture will not become too sticky.
4. Put everything on cotton cloth. Tie the corners of the cloth and let it drip until all excess water is removed.
5. Let stand overnight.
6. The next day, mix and crush the ingredients using your hand.

My brother recently bought a motorcycle and I'm jealous. I've always wanted to have a motorcycle but as I'm usually conservative with my purchases, instead chose to buy a car.

Anyway, now my brother is busy dressing up his bike and looking on the internet for Harley parts and accessories. I'm helping him on this task so I could borrow his bike once in a while. Hehe.

With road traffic getting worse everyday, having a motorbike is really a gasoline, money and time saver. I'm actually very, very close now to selling my car and buying myself my own Harley. What do you think?

Exercising At Home

I've been quite busy for the past few days that I can't afford to go to the gym anymore. Right after work, all I want to do is to go home and rest. Of course this is not healthy for me that's why I try to use the treadmills we have at home to get my regular cardio work out.

We actually have two of these exercise machines. The first one is old-school and pure mechanical that my father bought years ago. It's now in the garage. I use it when I want that feeling of the outdoors when I'm running.

The second one is electronic and highly sophisticated. I love using this one because it's right across our home television. I can watch my favorite television programs and movies while doing some laps on the treadmill.

In today's busy world, it's always important to remember to take care of our health.

One of the traditions that our family does on Christmas is having a sumptuous meal during the eve. We would have lots of food and fill our house with joy and laughter. Afterward, we would enjoy the carolers and watch family videos while eating Christmas cookies that my mom baked.
