Are you looking for unusual wedding gifts, bridesmaid gifts, wedding token for guests and other memorabilia? Then I suggest that you choose something useful more than being unique.
I've been to a lot of weddings and I've took home a lot of those table top displays, and other gifts that's solely used for display. Sometimes, I wish that I've gotten something more useful. Clothes, accessories and even personal effects are good ideas for gifts.
If you don't want to give something common, then choose a design that's unique or a color that's beautiful yet unusual such as periwinkle and primrose. I guess that's my advise.
Always remember, it's better to give than to receive.

Give Me A Break
Life can be so stressful at times and we all need to take a moment to rest and rejuvenate our spirit. It's important that we prioritize taking a break to avoid getting burned out. Besides, nobody ever said in their deathbed that they should have spent more time at work. But with our busy schedule and numerous appointments to meet, how can we find that rest and relaxation we've been looking for?
I think one answer to this problem is taking a hotel break. It's quick, fun, cheap and very relaxing. A friend of mine in UK told me her experiences in taking london hotel breaks and I must say that she really had a wonderful time. She told me about her trip to Madame Tussauds wax museum and I really got jealous of her wonderful pictures which she took and showed me.
However, if I were to get a short hotel break in the UK, I'd say I'll go and visit the London Eye. I think that the London Eye is one of the most breath taking structures in the world. If you don't know what the London Eye is, well, just imagine a ferris wheel that makes you see London from a completely different perspective, at 135 metres from the ground. It was featured in the Amazing Race a few seasons ago and I want to go there!
I believe that this will be an exciting break for me. I've read in books that looking out in vast spaces relaxes our thoughts and relieves stress. It will allow your imagination to soar and forget about your current worries. That's why I think this will be the way for me to go for a short break.
Yes, I think there's no better way for me to do that than to look as far into the horizon aboard the London Eye. For me, that is my perfect short break.
Top Ten Greatest Wimbledon Matches In History
Here's a compilation of what most believe are the top ten greatest Wimbledon game matches in recent history of the championship so far. Read them and tell if you agree or not.
Bjorn Borg def. John McEnroe
(1-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-7 (16-18), 8-6)
1980 Men's Singles Final
Many consider this to be the greatest match ever played at the All England Club, and it's not hard to see why. Played between two of the great personalities of the modern game, the ice-cool Swede and the temperamental American dished up some of the most sublime tennis ever witnessed. Borg held two match points at 5-4 up in the fourth set which McEnroe saved with diving volleys. And then came 'that tie-breaker'. McEnroe had seven set points and Borg five more match points, McEnroe finally taking it 18-16 to force a fifth set. McEnroe, by his own admission was exhausted by the emotional and physical strain of the fourth set, and eventually lost the final set 8-6 to give Borg his fifth straight men's singles title.
Andre Agassi def. Goran Ivanesivic
(6-7 (8-10), 6-4, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4)
1992 Men's Singles Final
Agassi, who upset seasoned grass court players Boris Becker and John McEnroe on his way to the final, got the Grand Slam monkey off his back at the 1992 All England Club after surprisingly defeating the big serving Croat in an epic five-setter in the championship match. Despite blasting down 37 aces, Ivanesivic could not deal with Agassi's brilliance on the return and the colorful 22-year-old from Las Vegas was crowned champion.
John McEnroe def. Jimmy Connors
(6-1, 6-1, 6-2)
1984 Men's Singles Final
Many consider this match the pinnacle of McEnroe%u2019s virtuosity. One of the most one-sided finals ever, McEnroe put on a flawless performance to wipeout Connors without even raising a sweat. It would be the last of his three triumphs at Wimbledon but it came in a year when he scaled the very peak of the sport compiling a 82-3 record for a year which included a career-high 13 tournaments victories.
Jimmy Connors def. Mikael Pernfors
(1-6, 1-6, 7-5, 6-4, 6-2)
1987 Men's Singles Fourth Round
If anyone needed proof that Connors was one of the most tenacious fighters ever to grace the game, they need only take a look at a recording of this fourth round clash at the 1987 championships. With light fading fast on centre court, the 34-year-old Connors staged one of the greatest comebacks of modern tennis. Down 1-6, 1-6, 1-4, the 1974 and 1982 men's champion dug deep, worked the crowd into a frenzy with his trademark fist pumping and chest thumping to haul in the plucky Swede by winning 18 of the final 25 games to earn a place in the quarterfinals.
Arthur Ashe def. Jimmy Connors
(6-1, 6-1, 5-7, 6-4)
1975 Men's Singles Final
A final between two players whose personalities sit on the complete opposite side of the spectrum - Connors brash and abrasive, Ashe the consummate gentlemen. There games were also poles apart with Connors relying on power to overwhelm an opponent, Ashe employing strategy and court nous. And if ever there was an advert for using a cunning game-plan to win a tennis match, then this was it. Instead of going for broke on every shot and slugging it out with Connors, Ashe took the pace off his shots, looped his serve high to the backhand and focused on exploiting Connors weakness low on the forehand. It worked a dream, Connors was unable to defend the title he had won a year earlier and Ashe was crowned the 1975 men's singles champion.
Steffi Graf def. Jana Novotna
(7-6 (8-6), 1-6, 6-4)
1993 Women's Singles Final
The match which saw Novotna cry on the shoulder of the Duches of Kent after she threw away a double break in the third set. Novotna had a point for a 5-1 lead in that set but when she went for broke on a second serve, and missed, it showed nerves were getting to her. Graf, the great champions that she was, held her composure and lifted her fifth ladies singles title and third in succession. Graf would go on to win two more titles while Novotna eventually got her place in the sun in 1998 after defeating Natalie Tauziat.
Steffi Graf def. Gabriela Sabatini
(6-4, 3-6, 8-6)
1991 Women's Singles Final
Another match which Graf snatched from the jaws of defeat. The sublimely talented but temperamental Sabatini served for the match twice in the third set but was visibly paralysed by nerves, especially on the second serve. Graf, as always remained focused and eventually captured her first Grand Slam title in 17 months and her tenth overall.
Goran Ivanisevic defeats Patrick Rafter
(6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 2-6, 9-7)
2001 Men's Singles Finals
Everyone shed a tear when wild card Goran Ivanisevic held the trophy aloft after his epic victory over Patrick Rafter. Unseeded and plagued by shoulder problems the volatile Croat dug deep to put the disappointment of three Wimbledon final losses in the 90s behind him to claim his maiden Grand Slam title. For Rafter it was a second successive loss in the men's showpiece event having lost to Pete Sampras the year before.
Martina Navratilova defeats Chris Evert
(2-6, 6-4, 7-5)
1978 Ladies' Singles Final
In what was probably the greatest rivalry in the history of the women's game - Navratilova winning 43 to Evert's 37 of the 80 matches they played - this particular clash went the way of the then Czechoslovakian. With the volatile Navratilova rushing the net at every available opportunity and the ice-cool Evert glued to the baseline, the former triumphed despite the latter taking an early lead and being up in both the second and third sets.
Margaret Smith Court defeats Billie Jean King
(14-12, 11-9)
1970 Ladies' Singles Final
With nine career Wimbledon singles titles between them these two giants of the game dished up a match to remember in 1970. In the days before the tie-break, this match lasted two hours and 28 minutes as both Court and King served strongly, dived for volleys and pounded away at the baseline, despite each suffering from niggling injuries. The victory put Court on course for the Grand Slam - a feat only achieved by Court, Steffi Graf and Maureen Connolly in the history of women's tennis.

Urduja Is Not The Philippines' First Full-Length Animated Movie

Urduja is not the Philippines' first full-length animated movie. This is so wrong. The title belongs to Adarna which was released in 1997. To give you more information, here's a press release that was given from the news wire of ABS-CBN:
World-class Filipino animator Gerry Garcia said he is really upset with reports and claims that the new film Urduja is the Philippines' first full-length animated movie.
The animator explained that it was his 'baby' Adarna which owns the title of being the first full-length Pinoy animated movie. Adarna was released in 1997.
Adarna was released under FLT Productions and Guiding Light Productions as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival. It featured the voices of singers Jolina Magdangal, Martin Nievera and Regine Velasquez.
Garcia wrote and directed the animated film. He said Adarna was the first animated movie in Philippine Cinema, and that it received a Special Award from the Metro Manila Film Festival specifically for this distinction in December 27, 1997.
On his trophy it said "ADARNA Kauna-unahang animated Movie sa Philippine Cinema."
He received the same from FAMAS and other award giving bodies. In Japan, Adarna was honored during the 7th Hiroshima Animation Festival as an Asian collection in 1998.
In recent press releases for Urduja, producer Tony Tuviera said that he believes his film is the first of its kind in the Philippines. This statement angered Garcia the most.
"Sa sarili mo hindi mo che-checkin 'yun kung sinong may unang gumawa, impossible - common sense yun," he said.
A resident of Verona New Jersey since 1998, Garcia said he chose to live a quiet life abroad.
He said Adarna has been his pride and joy and he carries with him the honor from that movie. So when Tuviera claimed an accomplishment that Garcia said he proudly earned, he said he had no choice but to speak up and let the world know.
"Kahit sino mang artist, paglalaban mo 'yung baby mo, anak mo 'yan," he said.
Garcia said he feels helpless and can only count on Filipino American news outlets especially in New Jersey to defend his legacy. Reports said Garcia has no plan to sue Urduja's makers.
He just hopes that credit and respect will be given to those who really earned it. He said he just simply wants everybody to know the truth.

Anyway, this article is actually about a news article from the Bohol Standard and I'd like to share it to you, here it is:
A lady mayor has found a winning formula to curb the proliferation of the illegal numbers games suertres.
Loay Mayor Rosemarie Lim-Imboy has gathered identified suertres financiers in her town and had a heart-to-heart talk with them explaining the effects of operating masiao suertres which is illegal being not sanction by duly authorized government agencies like the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes.
"It is not hard to identify these financiers since they are publicly known and everybody knows them in the community. What we must do is to convince them to stop from this illegal business. Although I really understand their side and the need for them to earn a livelihood, I also have to impose the rule of law as it is my responsibility being the mayor of the town," Mayor Lim-Imboy said.
She said she will also exert a maximum tolerance to let workers in the illegal suertres business find other means of work and will not be hard on them.
"But if they persist to go on with this illegal business, then I will have to file charges and exert the full power of the law," the lady mayor warned.
Meanwhile, she brushed aside the black propaganda made by her political rivals using the suertres issue. She is accused of not doing anything about suertres.
"The truth is that suertres financiers themselves, many of them supporters of my political rivals, are now expressing their gratitude thanking me for my gentle approach towards their businesss. They have now vowed support for my administrations since I respected them also and treated them fairly," Mayor Lim-Imboy revealed.
"Here in my town, the defeated politicians still refuse to accept that Loay needs reform and new brand of leadership. I would say, they better contribute something for the welfare of Loay rather than engage in politicking for their own selfish ends," she said.

Secrets To A Stable Computer Network
Connectivity of computer networks has its occasional bugs and problems. Although these issues are often caused by software and application errors such as network viruses and operating system incompatibilities, one must strive to eliminate problems caused by faulty hardware.
Investing in high quality cables, CAT6, switches and other computer peripherals is a must to achieve a stable network. This will ensure an efficient connection and fast upload and download speeds across the workstations. Don't waste your money on buying cheap equipments who will break down after a few months of use. Purchase only durable products to save money and lessen your business costs.
