Web Surfing When You're Sleepy

I usually surf the internet before I go to bed. The problem with this habit is that I often get very sleepy while I'm still in front of the computer. This leads to a lot of mistyped words on the browser which unexpectedly leads me to other interesting sites. Here are some of the mistakes I've made in typing.

1. YuTube instead of YouTube
2. .xom instead of .com (hello pop-ups!)
3. again UTube instead of YouTube
4. Vlogger instead of Blogger (videos blogs by blogspot?)
5. wwww instead of just www

and the list goes on...

The funny thing is, when the Page Cannot be Found error occurs, I usually complain and say to myself that the internet connection is down again. So I go and check the cables, which eventually makes me awake again.

Arggh, this is becoming a bad habit. I think I should put a deadline on my surfing time so I wouldn't commit these common mistakes. The problem is, what if my time is up and I'm still awake?

I think I'll just read a book. What do you think?

Mendiola Blast

A friend of mine who is a paramedic recently told me that at least seventeen people were hurt after a grenade explosion occurred in front of the La Consolacion College near Malacañang in Manila, yesterday afternoon.

He responded to the emergency call about the blast around 4:30 p.m. which occurred at Laurel Street in Mendiola near the sentry gate of the Presidential Security Group.

Most of the victims were brought to the Manila Doctors Hospital and University of Sto. Tomas Medical Center.

According to the reports from the Manila Police District which my friend received, the blast took place under a Honda CRV with plate number XDB-530 in front of the exclusive school beside Malacañang.

I think that is a futile attempt to terrorize the Holy Week of Pinoys. I pray for the forgiveness of the souls of the perpetrators of this crime.

Viva Hot Babe Got Killed

A member of the sexy sing-and-dance group Viva Hot Babes was found dead early morning on March 13 after authorities responded to reports of an apparent fire at the 3-storey home of the starlet in Gordon Heights located in Olongapo City.

The victim is Scarlet Garcia. She is Scarlet Mae Bouffard Garcia in real life. She sustained stab wounds and was found inside the bathroom of the house along with her boyfriend, George Castor Jr., her cousin, Rachel Estacio and Estacio's boyfriend, Von Mark Bandejas. The police suspects that the assailants tried to set fire to the house in an apparent effort to cover up the murders.

Fellow Viva Hot Babe Jaycee Parker, who was also the manager of Garcia narrates to reporters that her three companions were having a party the night before they were killed. A still unconfirmed report said that the victims had four guests in the house, all men. The report also said that the four men left the premises but later on two of them returned.

Authorities say they are now looking into a possible botched car deal as a motive for the crime.
