I thought that my impending flu would subside if I drink up on liquids and sleep early. I even lessened my smoking but I guess it's really time for my annual illness. Yes, I get sick at least once a year. I usually get this right after summer when the season is changing towards the rainy season but I think the weather in past few days were very unpredictable, thus my body's failure to cope.
I'm now drowning myself with calamansi juice which really works wonders for me. I'm also cutting back on my television watching because it tends to strain my eyes. It would be better for me to just listen to some soothing music and sleep the whole day.
Yay! I have an excuse not to go to work. Haha. That's the bright side of it all I guess. I'll file a sick leave tomorrow too so I'll have a long weekend ahead of me.

Reynaldo Lapuz, another William Hung?
A Filipino-American from Reno Nevada is getting a lot of raves lately. His name is Reynaldo Lapuz and he recently auditioned for American Idol Season 7. I think that he is really funny but I can't help but compare him to the infamous William Hung.
This guy came into the audition dressed like a musketeer, obviously soliciting attention from the crowd and of course, Ryan Seacrest. He got his chance and relished his 15 minutes of fame.
He sang his own composition entitled, "I am your brother", which is now one of the songs that routinely goes through my head at random moments. Arrgh! Anyway, I don't want to suffer alone so I'm sharing you his audition video, just in case you missed it.
