Playing With Magnets

When I was a kid, I used to play with magnets a lot. It was really an early sign that I will be an engineer in the future. Indeed, these invisible forces truly fascinated me.

I would get a clean piece of paper, put some aggregate sand on it and put a magnet underneath. I would move the magnet around and watch as the iron ores inside the sand separate from the pebble pile.

After doing so, I would gather all the iron ores and make it dance with my magnet underneath. I'd usually do this all afternoon. It was really one of my earliest scientific discoveries as a child.

What about you? What game did you play alone as a child?
