The computer network at the office broke down today. Our I.T. department traced the problem to one of the hardware which needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, due to the current financial crisis and the need for our company to save some money, we decided to just invest on used cisco equipment.
I believe that this is a wise choice. There are very durable brands of hardware that still perform very well despite it being second-hand. Usually, other companies replace their hardware simply because they need more features that's present in newer models. That's why these used equipments are still in top condition.
There are also some companies who buy these broken hardware and performs a good job at refurbishing or repairing them. They'll be as good as brand new. Indeed, a great way to save some money in your business.
