I used to weight 230 lbs. This was a year ago. Now my weight is 170 lbs. Yes, that's 60 lbs. PERMANENTLY off from me. I did not undergo a special diet and I did not go on a special slimming treatment.
What did I do, you might want to ask. Well, what I did to lose weight is not a very big secret. Do you want to know what I did?
First, I did not go on any special diet. No watching carbs. Nor watching calories. No special food to be prepared. I just ate what I want.
But what did I do differently that helped me lose weight?
Well, what I did was to eat a balanced diet. This means I always make sure that I eat every type of food there is in a day. Yes, proteins, milk, vegetables, meat, a little of fat, sugar, everything.
The key is everything in moderation.
The second secret. I did not starve myself. I ate five to six times a day, but in small amounts. A nutritionist called this as micro meals. And it is indeed very effective.
Slowly, 1 to 2 pounds per week, I begin to lose weight. Of course I tried to be active but still, there was no pressure from myself to workout and go to the gym.
After a few months, friends started to notice that I'm losing weight. For me, I didn't really feel it because I don't notice any stretchmarks and I didn't feel that I was on a diet because micro meals always makes sure that I never feel hungry.
