A Branson Getaway

I met with a friend I haven't seen in a long time yesterday. We had dinner and then went for coffee to talk and catch up. It's been almost two years since we last saw each other. He left with his family to live permanently with their relatives in the United States.

We reminisced all the fun times we had when we were still university students and wondered how our other friends are doing now. The night ended with so much nostalgia and fun memories which made me realize how much I missed hanging out with my friend.

On the way home, I thought to myself, what if I can clear some of my schedule before the year ends and have a vacation with him in his new home in Branson Missouri? I think it would be fun to give him a visit there and likewise, have a personal time out with all the work I'm doing. I have to admit, I've been really busy lately and I badly need a getaway plan to relax and unwind.

I started looking for vacation packages for Branson, Missouri on the internet to see what's in store for me if I go there. I found one site named, Branson Getaways that clearly showed me the different sights and sounds I can experience in Branson.

I learned that there's a Go Kart Track there and several museums as well like the Titanic museum and the Hollywood Wax Museum. The Branson Scenic Railroad ride looks interesting too. I'm also glad to discover that there are lots of things to do also for nature lovers like me such as visiting the State Park Marina and the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.

Lodging isn't a problem in Branson because there's a good number of hotels and resorts you can stay in. The Clarion Hotel is one place you can stay and is my favorite because it's located right on the famous 76 strip of Branson. But moreover, the hotel features pools, exercise facilities, themed restaurants and provides a beautiful view of the Ozark Mountains.

I think I really have to plan this vacation and save up. It's not that expensive anyway. I'm planning to get the Gold Package from Branson Getaways for only $455. That's 3 days and 2 nights stay at The Clarion that's good for two! Additionally, I'll have tickets to Pierce Arrow and Mickey Gilley with that.

If you're thinking of having a getaway anytime, I suggest you consider going to Branson and look at the different vacation packages that Branson Getaways offer.
