I don't want to advocate financial irresponsibility so I would like to dispense some of these advise first.
1. You don't need to play every time or bet on a lot of combinations to win the lotto. Although common sense would tell us that our chances of winning are higher if we play often, the actual figure is so very close to zero such that it won't really make much of a difference. You don't believe me? Ask the closest math geek you know and have him compute the probabilities for you.
2. After accepting the previous fact, then it would be easy for you to understand that it is best that you play the lottery only when you have extra money. Don't be a fool and waste your lunch money! This is just a game, and by that I mean playing the lotto means you should be spending cash that's coming out of your entertainment budget.
3. Lastly, always have your number combinations ready before you go to the lotto outlet. I'm sorry but this is a pet peeve of mine. I just don't like the crowd of people gathered around the lottery outlet standing silently and praying to get that miraculous whisper of winning numbers. What gives, right? Just tick the Lucky Pick and let the machine listen for that voice you're trying to hear. ^_^
